One | Two

This work explores the relationship between nature, the body, and the environment. In the Origami Nude series, the line is blurred between abstraction and realism, by flattening out 3-dimensional forms, heightening the color palette and giving equal weight to all subjects.

In Spinning, abstract compositions are created by distorting realistic scenes and rendering them unrecognizable from their original state. By starting with something tangible, these compositions have a formal base to draw from, evoking something familiar and natural.
